I want to write not waste my talent or my time

Any business whatever it’s size will only ever be as strong as it’s management structure.

Yorkshire Fenix Enterprises may be seen as a one man, one enterprise business but it is

growing and it needs support.

As a sole proprietor/trader for two years it has been a steep learning curve getting to grips with all the rules and regulations and trying to keep all the balls in the air juggling with the business’s core purpose with virtually no income. The powers that be would like to judge it a hobby business because of this lack of income. So now you know that I am considered by some of my peer group as an idiot trying to start up a business in my late seventies.

My main motto remains I may be considered old but baby I ain’t dead yet and I want to

dedicate the time I have left to do two things. First and foremost to keep my brain alive and continue to learn. In my youth you learned new skills by doing them and I still follow that creed. However there are only so many hours in the day about nineteen waking hours for me and the five when I sleep my creative brain still works.

My main objective is to delve deeper into my creative self not to carry out all the

administrative and financial tasks required in any business which is why I need help.

Good news though because I think I’ve found a solution although as with most worthwhile things in life it costs me money. I don’t mind paying others to carry out what I consider the boring parts of the job, probably because I have difficulty getting to grips with all the new technology but also because my interest is in creating things such as stories, making new acquaintances and developing new enterprises.

My solution is to pay for someone to do the jobs I don’t want to do, so I employ a Virtual Assistant and I have to say this has been the best decision I have made finding an organisation that I trust is rare these days but now I have what I consider my team in

place. I know I’m being pompous as the team isn’t really mine it belongs to the owner of

KMVA a lady by the name of Kirsty Moore who I have grown to trust implicitly though in

truth I have not met her face to face, we manage the business entirely over the internet

and the collaboration is very successful. I shall introduce you to Kirsty and her team which feels like my team shortly.

The purpose of this blog is to introduce you to Yorkshire Fenix Enterprises and my trusty team structure which I can strongly recommend to others.

Watch out for further blogs where I shall introduce the team , maybe with some pics and let you know of further developments because I’m now free to develop my creative

enterprises beyond merely writing novels though that will still remain my core business.
